How to get here:
By car from St Neots - take the A1198 south from Caxton Gibbet Roundabout. At Caxton Village/ West Cambourne roundabout, take the first left along Dobbins Avenue. Follow the road through the development for approximately half a mile. When you reach the West Cambourne Entrance, turn right through the gates; parking and the Sixth Form Reception will be in front of you. Please bear in mind that there are roadworks on this route until 2027 and journeys may take longer than anticipated. Due to the new nature of the West Cambourne development, your sat nav may not bring you this way automatically; please also be aware that, until September 2025, parking access in this car park will be restricted unless a specific event is taking place in the Sixth Form.
By car from Cambridge: enter Cambourne from the A428 by Cambourne Road; go right around the large roundabout and then take the first left onto Sheepfold Lane. Follow Sheepfold Lane until arriving in the main school car park, and follow the ‘on foot from Cambourne main school’ directions, below.
By bus from St Neots – Catch the Whippet Number 18 from the Market Square, Spar on Cambridge Street or the eastbound stop on Cambridge Road (Love’s Farm). Alight at the Co-op on School Lane in Lower Cambourne. From here, walk across the green, and follow Swansley Lane until you reach the footpath/ bike path at the end of Swansley Lane. This path will take you to the main school site, and the directions below will bring you to the Sixth Form. It is approximately a 12 minute walk.
On foot from Cambourne main school car park: Enter the side access road to the right of the site. Follow the footpath round, and you'll arrive in the West Cambourne car park; the Sixth Form Reception will be on your left.
We are easily accessed by bus from a number of surrounding towns and villages, as well as the city of Cambridge. The below map shows the three main bus routes to Cambourne. The bus stop on Cambourne Road brings you within 5 minutes of our site. Students joining us from outside Cambourne are eligible for a ‘Tiger Bus Pass’, which makes all fares £1 anywhere in Cambridgeshire. We are also accessible by cycle path from nearby Papworth, and on foot from Caxton.
